At one time this page was very extensive with many details about insurances that used to covered chiropractic care. Well, the truth today is that most insurances don't really cover chiropractic care anymore, even though they say that they do. Her is how that works: Your insurance will tell you that they cover at least a portion of chiropractic care...BUT!!...The real truth is that your deductibles and co-payments for chiropractic care, (separate from and higher than the ones that they charge for regular medical care), are, in most cases, so high that they essentially make chiropractic care unaffordable to most people. And those same high deductibles and co-payments keep those same insurance companies from ever having to pay out any money (on your behalf) for chiropractic care. That is the insurance companies "modern" way of being able to say..."Sure, we cover chiropractic care"...when, in reality, THEY DON'T!!
